We set our foundation in our coaching staff, who above all else, love and support our members – always keeping in mind each individual’s personal fitness and nutrition goals. We understand the unique needs of our members, and we strive to meet them each and every day. We believe that every human being can improve their quality of life through fitness and lifestyle choices, and we embrace the opportunity to be a driving force in that process. We hold one another accountable and we share in each other’s triumphs and frustrations. At the end of the day, it’s our passion for our people that sets us apart from other gyms.
Meet our Coaches
Susan McLaren, Owner
Susan has spent the majority of her life either participating in or coaching competitive sports. She is a lover of all barbell movements and has continued to grow her knowledge of fitness and nutrition over the last two decades to help athletes of all ages reach their goals and maintain optimal health. She has a strong believe the food and movement cures all!
Mia Doherty, Owner
Those who know Mia best would say that some of the most appealing aspects of her character include a powerhouse work ethic, her contagious spirit, and her ability to make fitness relatable and fun for people from all aspects of life.
April Drolette
April is a CrossFit Level 2 Certified coach and has been actively doing CrossFit since 2013 while in her senior year of high school. Her goal as a coach is to continue to improve her craft while guiding others on their own life-style journeys.
Pete Lauria
Pete is a CrossFit Level 2 Certified Coach and has been active in CrossFit for over five years. Pete is the master of programming and loves helping athletes reach their full potential.
Krysta Banfield-Lauria
Registered Dietician and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. I believe that food is more than fuel—it’s a form of self-care, a connection to culture, and a foundation for lifelong health. Over the years, I’ve seen how empowering people with personalized, evidence-based nutrition guidance can transform lives—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.
Suzanne Parker
Suz is a NETA and Pre/Postpartum Certified Trainer and Nutrition Coach. She is the heart of our RackFit and Minis program, bringing her enthusiasm for fitness and community to each and every class she coaches.
Derrick Mwanje
Derrick is a CrossFit Level 1 and a Certified Personal Training. He is known for his contagious laugh, work ethic and care for his clients. He specializes in athletic development for youth athletes and sports teams aspiring to take their game to the next level.
As a nationally ranked CrossFit competitor he understands what it takes to be the best.
Ernie Doherty
Ernie is proud to be a lifelong Woburn resident, with strong ties to the community that raised him and helped him raise his family. His true passion is helping people set goals, stay accountable, and lead better lives.
